We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.

功能：

Exhibits a robust glutathione (GSH)-dependent disulfide-bond reductase activity toward the model substrate, 2-hydroxyethyl disulfide; the actual physiological substrates are not known. Also displays a modest GSH-dependent peroxidase activity toward several organic hydroperoxides, such as cumene hydroperoxide and linoleic acid 13(S)-hydroperoxide, but does not reduce H(2)O(2) or tert-butyl hydroperoxide at appreciable rates. Exhibits little or no GSH transferase activity with most typical electrophilic substrates, and has no detectable transferase activity toward 1-chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzene (CDNB) with glutathionylspermidine (GspSH) as the nucleophilic substrate.
